Fight for your country!
Note: inspired by the defunct International League, also an offhanded comment deluks917 made to me about a month ago, so s/o to him.
Rules:
Form a team of players from the same country / region (mergers are allowed, within reason. Also multiple teams can be formed from the same region). Each team will have 4 players - a GSC 1U-L player, an ADV 1U-L player, a HGSS 1U player, and a substitute. (Note - the requirement of a substitute may be abolished / removed, depends on how things go).
The tournament will be made up of three stages, where each starting player will be placed into a pool of 5 other players, and will be forced to battle them all in best of 3 series. For each won series a team gains 3 points, for a tied series it gains 1 point, and no points are gained for a lost series. Teams are allowed to switch their lineups between stages.
After the third stage concludes, the top 4 point-getting teams (or 8, depending on how many signups we get) will go through to playoffs, which is a straight single elimination tour. Last team standing wins.
Signups:
Signups will close on November 27. Good luck finding teammates!
