  2. Welcome to Pokemon Perfect, Guest!

Our motto is Pokémon Practice makes Pokémon Perfect. We are a competitive-battling community that encourages the development of players and their ideas, and fosters positive and respectful attitudes. We love Collaboration (working together), Competition (getting stronger), and Communication (being informed).

You are free to post everywhere, unless the thread explicitly states otherwise (usually in the case of a vote), and there are no private forums whatsoever. We just require you to not make multiple accounts. Let us greet you by posting a thread in the Introduce Yourself! forum.

  3. Tiers

View Introduction to Tiers if you don't know what tiers are. Pokémon Perfect tiers are named differently to those on Smogon. A numeral followed by the letter U, e.g. 1U, 2U, 3U, represents a main tier on Pokémon Perfect – the '1' of '1U' representing the tier level. For a tier to be a main tier, it must be balanced (nothing is too powerful and game-breaking) and diverse enough (include a variety of Pokémon and strategies). A numeral followed by the letter P, e.g. 1P, 2P, 3P contain all Pokémon that are deemed overpowered in the respective 1U, 2U, 3U tiers. The 1st tier level allows Pokémon that are banned in the 2nd level, and this process continues down. Read the tier list, and in-depth explanations of the tiers naming system and tiering system. Also check out our analyses for all tiers.

  4. Tournaments

RBY 1U Seasons and its master tournaments are responsible for starting up the community, and tournaments continue to play a big role in maintaining interest in the forums. Signups Open gives you a list of tournaments you can join, and Ongoing lists tournaments that you might want to follow. Additionally, you can tap to find out approximate Schedules for tournaments.

For historical threads, check out Signups Closed, Finished tournaments and Results. We also have Nominations, Voting and Event threads for exhibitions – past and present.

Welcome to the finals of WCOPP! After 7 weeks, we're left with two teams: will Brazil avenge their finals defeat from last year, or will Italy manage to repeat their WCOPP 1 victory? A few things to note:

-Good sportsmanship is expected: a bit of rage about hax is fine, but don't go overboard and start flaming opponents.
-Make sure to VM your opponent on either PP or Smogon forums, to make handling activity cases easier.
-Matches are recommended to be played on Smogtours or main server.
    -All RBY matches are BO3.
-Please save all replays and post them here!

Well, I think it's time to say THANK YOU to these fantastic teammates...

SamuelBest: a severe player in his judgments, but who has never disappointed exhibiting great performances in ADV and has been fundamental for our team. I also want to thank him for the support he provided to his teammates and for helping me as a Co-Cap. This guy deserves a place in other tournaments too... ;)

Alexander: Alex is not only one of my best friends in this world, but also an amazing teammate. We were together in RoAPL last year and we lost in the final ... it was time for a revenge! Exceptional guy who supported all of us in every tier. He disintegrated anyone in ADV, but managed to assert himself in other tiers too. Alex is probably the person I respect most, along with Marcoasd. Absolute champion.

Ramweavs: I want you to know that I really appreciated you, despite the difficulties. You were a guy who put his heart into this tournament and I fully understand how stressful it is to play certain games. I hope it was a good experience for you.

The Hunter: my dear friend, although you have not played very much, i want you to know that I greatly appreciated your availability, your commitment and your determination. I am very happy to have shared this experience with you.

Raiza: Raiza was another of the strengths of this team. Silent player, of few words, but that shows all its value on the battlefield. Thank you so much for helping us, champion!

Oibaf: one of the people I've known for the longest time, a good guy and a great player. It was a real pleasure to have you as a teammate and I thank you very much for your great help in GSC (and not only).

Mix and Tunc42: I'm sorry you didn't have the space you deserved, but I'm still proud of you, you are two exceptional guys that I'm happy to have had by my side along this path.

hellpowna: an amazing, nice and helpful guy who helped all his teammates, in every tier he could. His great team spirit was fundamental, as well as its great performance. A golden boy. BEWARE OF COCO. (follow him on Instagram)

Niko.: Niko is a real friend to me. One of the people I value most and who helped me the most in the past. This guy is a special person for me, as well as one of the best italian players in the world. He literally smashed anyone, losing only 1 game due to a double flinch. He was one of the strongest players of the team, the real secret weapon. Simply a fantastic person and an inhuman player. YOU HAVE BEEN DEVASTATING. G O A T

Laroxyl: Anyone who knows me knows ... LAROXYL IS MY MAN. I had him as a teammate in every tour I could (TSPL, PPL, WCOPP, etc.) and he has always been fundamental, helping each of his mates in all the tiers as he has a wide knowledge of every gen. A very good guy, a special friend. OUR FABIO GROSSO

Special thanks: Ranshiin and Christos for your support and HSOWA and Eseque for making this tournament possible. A final special thanks to all our opponents for being correct and available with us.

"...perchè oggi, grazie a voi, abbiamo vinto tutti..."

GRAZIE RAGAZZI, SIETE STATI MERAVIGLIOSI. FIERO DI VOI.
