#1: [ Signups & Challenges | Results ]

Tournament Format
- First-to-2-wins (~Best of 3).
- It will be played in the [Gen 1] OU battle format on Pokémon Showdown!
- You may challenge anyone if you, or the one you challenge, aren’t currently engaged in a challenge. Please @ them on the thread.
- Start with 3 chips each. For each set, the player with less chips wagers how many chips you each will gain/lose from winning the set (between 1 and their current total inclusive). If chips are equal, the challenger decides the wager.
- You can pay the host 2 chips (i.e. just remove 2 from your total) for every 1 chip taken away from a competitor. Players must be left with 1 chip. This is called Steal. These are separate to challenges.
- If you have below 8 chips at the start of the set, you have to reveal an appropriate number of Pokémon to your opponent that will be locked to your team for every battle in the set.
- If you have 7 chips, you have to reveal 1 locked Pokémon.
- If you have 6 chips, you have to reveal 2 locked Pokémon.
- If you have 5 chips, you have to reveal 3 locked Pokémon.
- If you have 4 chips, you have to reveal 4 locked Pokémon.
- If you have 3 chips, you have to reveal 5 locked Pokémon.
- If you have 2 chips, you have to reveal 6 locked Pokémon.
- If you have 1 chip, you have to reveal your lead and 6 locked Pokémon.
- The challenger states their locked Pokémon first, then the opponent replies with their locked Pokémon before the set can begin. This happens the other way around if the challenger has less chips. Movesets don't have to be revealed.
- All this information should be contained within posts on the tournament thread. If you enter a match while not containing all the lock Pokémon, you forfeit the match. You must be aware of your current number of chips, regardless of the host not being present to update.
- You have 24 hours to respond to a challenge and the match must be scheduled within 3 days of the challenge; and you can’t miss the scheduled time. Failures by one side will result in them losing their chips according to the wager.
- You can’t share your chips with another player ever; nor can you steal from a player while they are in a challenge.
- The host will take a chip away from everyone at certain deadlines (tax them) to thin out the field, even if they have only one chip left.
- If a player has no chips left, they are eliminated. The Celadon Cup winner will be the only player not eliminated at the end.
Please use the #rby-scheduling channel to schedule with your opponent, including alerting them at the scheduled match time.
