We love Collaboration (working together), Competition (getting stronger), and Communication (being informed).

  3. Tiers

View Introduction to Tiers if you don't know what tiers are. Pokémon Perfect tiers are named differently to those on Smogon. A numeral followed by the letter U, e.g. 1U, 2U, 3U, represents a main tier on Pokémon Perfect – the '1' of '1U' representing the tier level. For a tier to be a main tier, it must be balanced (nothing is too powerful and game-breaking) and diverse enough (include a variety of Pokémon and strategies). A numeral followed by the letter P, e.g. 1P, 2P, 3P contain all Pokémon that are deemed overpowered in the respective 1U, 2U, 3U tiers. The 1st tier level allows Pokémon that are banned in the 2nd level, and this process continues down. Read the tier list, and in-depth explanations of the tiers naming system and tiering system. Also check out our analyses for all tiers.

  4. Tournaments

RBY 1U Seasons and its master tournaments are responsible for starting up the community, and tournaments continue to play a big role in maintaining interest in the forums. Signups Open gives you a list of tournaments you can join, and Ongoing lists tournaments that you might want to follow. Additionally, you can tap to find out approximate Schedules for tournaments.

For historical threads, check out Signups Closed, Finished tournaments and Results. We also have Nominations, Voting and Event threads for exhibitions – past and present.

What's your personal rankings for Pokemon in RBY 3U, assuming S through C Ranks with Pokemon being ordered by viability and not alphabetically? You're not restricted to using their ranking on the VR page, so you can place Pokemon in different ranks, remove them from the S-C ranks entirely or add ones that are not listed if you feel they deserve C or better. Probably won't matter, but it could maybe be used for ordering the RBY 3U viability ranks, helping to decide on rank shifts or just get a sense of what each player thinks of the tier in general.

Almost the same as Enigami, I switched Buzz and Dactyl and Dewgong and Mr. Mime and put Charizard high in B rank cause I still think very positively about it.

You don't have to mention Flareon if you don't want to. Remember, you can add or remove Pokemon from the list as you please. I mostly included it and Nidoking on mine because they are C ranked on the VR and haven't seen or used them at all recently to have an opinion on whether they should be there.

I just encountered Nidoking twice so far. I wasn´t that impressed but I can see why it could be taken into consideration (Mixed Attacker with Electric Immunity and Neutral vs Grass).

Gastly was ranked so high mainly because Lusch made good use of it.

Other than that, I just ranked the beyond the Line mons by how useful they could be in theory, seeing that the Tier lacks partial Trappers other than Pinsir and some Charizards, and Ninetales being a good Choice for that Job because the whole Set is designed to do it (specialized Partial Trap User).

Edit: Ranked Venomoth too. Fastest Reliable Sleeper and Stun Spore as a Bonus for Status Spreading. Psychic isn´t bad either vs Venusaur, though you shouldn´t use it just because of that reason.

    Exeggcute

Garbage- why is this in the tier, I seriously don't remember

    Poliwhirl

Individually ranked obv. Yes I'm serious, Wigglytuff is better than half the tier. Or rather, it's easier to slot onto a team by a fucking looooooong margin. Dewgong and Vap would individually be top of A (borderline S), but because they're competing for the same slot they screw each other over and end up bottom of A. Also Aero is a pain in the ass, blizzbolt weak makes it incredibly difficult to fit onto teams (Zard gets a pass because it's a decent lead imo)
