As promised in our original statement on this matter, found here, here is our own vote as to how the Pokemon Perfect community would like to handle the RBY Counter/De-sync situation.
The details of this situation for those who may not be entirely familiar with it, as well as the results of the Smogon vote, can be found here.
We've known for a while we wanted to hold our own vote. The trickiest and most time consuming part ended up being deciding exactly *who* should be able to vote, and after much internal discussion we ended up with the following criteria-
-5 or more RBY Championship points (from our qualifiers this year)
-2019 Master Tour semifinalists or better
-100 or more total points in seasons in PP's old format
This leaves us with the following 39 players eligible to vote-
Alexander
Bedschibaer
Bushtush
Caetano93
Christos
Chrysalis
Disaster Area
EB0LA
EGALVANC
Enigami
ErPeris
Exiline
Genesis7
GGFan
Golden Gyarados
Hipmonlee
HML am
Jaajgko
Kiichi

We are aware that some of these players are not particularly active on Pokemon Perfect and/or in general at this time and we know it's very unlikely that everyone who is eligible to vote actually votes. As such, we're simply putting a time limit on this vote, which will be Saturday July 11th at 11:59PM EST and the vote will be determined by a simple majority rules.
The voting options at this time are simply-
1. Accept the outcome of the Smogon vote, which was to patch Counter so that it fails any time a de-sync would occur.
or
2. Ban the use of Counter from Pokemon Perfect RBY tournaments.
To vote, simply click this totally not sketchy non malware afflicting link and then post in this thread "Voted" so we know it was actually you. Users who fail to post in this thread confirming that they've voted will not have their vote counted.
