ADV OU Dewford Cup #2
Welcome to the Dewford Cup ladder tournament. Please read this post thoroughly and be familiar Smogon's ADV OU ruleset, prior to signing up below. If you still have questions after reading this, you can always contact me on here in vm or pm or on discord as Dizno#1693Tournament Format
- For 4 weeks, you can register one alt per week. The 4 players alts that have reached the highest ratings on the Pokemon Showdown [Gen 3] OU ladder by the end of the week qualify for a 16-man BO3 single elimination stage.
- In the first round of the elimination stage, 1st places will be paired with 4th and 2nd with 3rd places. Placing 5th qualifies you as a substitute, with the order of substitution determined by individual ladder rankings.
- The winner of the tournament is declared the Dewford Cup Champion and receives an individual player trophy.
- Each player must create a new alt each week over the course of the 4 weeks. Once a new week starts, last week's alt is no longer relevant. Meaning players have 1 week to reach as high as they can on ladder.
- Signups close at Sunday 9:59pm gmt+1 each week, and reopen immediately for the next week.
- For the first week, your alt name must be in the format "DLT1 (your alt name)"on Showdown, for the second week "DLT2 (your alt name)" and so on...
ADV OU Rules
Banned Pokemon: Deoxys, Deoxys-Attack, Deoxys-Defense, Deoxys-Speed, Groudon, Ho-oh, Kyogre, Latias, Latios, Lugia, Mew, Mewtwo, Rayquaza, Wobbuffet, Wynaut.
Banned Moves: Double Team, Fissure, Guillotine, Horn Drill, Minimize, Sheer Cold (Evasion + OHKO moves).
Banned Moves on Pokémon: Ingrain on Smeargle.
Clauses: Sleep Clause, Species Clause, Self-KO Clause. Self-KO is a tie, in which case a replay should occur.

About Deadlines
Any matches not played by their respective deadline are subject to activity calls by the host, once prompted. Deadlines will occur during the Elimination stage of the tournament. Extensions of up to 3 days will be granted, although getting games done ASAP is preferred. Both forum and simulator activity are taken into account for activity decisions.
