I live in Brazil and started playing Pokémon around 5 years-old. At 10, just like the legends, one of my brother's friend sold me his GameBoy Color with Crystal. When I was teenager I discovered Online play (Pokémon NetBattle at the time) and a brazilian community that played GSC OU. I study a little the meta and was able to beat the top members. Fast forward to the future and with 16 yo I joined LOP (Official Pokémon League on pt-br) of my state, and played Gen 6 OU with my cousins and we four established the top 4 members here! I loved teaching new players how to play the meta... But with the popularity of stall-orinented teams and Baton Pass, I dropped the game. After a lot of years only seeing the news in the game, I'm now playing RBY OU, because (1) I never played before (started with GSC) and (2) it is a fascinating simple yet complex meta!
